My lifelong passion has always been education and I began my path at Florida State University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Before jumping into the classroom, I became a graduate research assistant and worked on a study with elementary students on Argumentation in the Elementary Math Classroom. During that time, I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also from Florida State. I taught for one year in Florida, then moved to Colorado where I have been teaching for three years. I constantly have a desire to learn more about best practices so I can be able to bring them back to my own classroom.
