Nancy Qushair is the Department Chair of Math and an Algebra 1A Teacher at St. Mary’s School in California. She also serves as the Director of Summer Academic Prep and has been the lead coach for the International Maths Quest Competition for the last 12 years. In 2017, the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) Foundation awarded Nancy the William Dahlgren Teacher of Excellence Award for inspiring and motivating students in math. Nancy has 15 years of teaching experience and she has taught in both elementary and middle school. Nancy’s purpose and passion is motivating students to have a growth mindset while inspiring them to inquire about topics, make connections, apply concepts to real life, and work collaboratively with others with pursuit of knowledge and discovery.
