I am from Montrose, Colorado. I am a licensed mathematics intervention specialist and work with two types of students. Those who for whatever reason, have come to the conclusion that they are not capable of learning math, and those who are gifted with math. I am lucky to work at a school that promotes Growth Mindset for all its students and teachers, in all learning environments. I am currently working on my Master's in mathematics education at the University of Texas at Arlington and will graduate this spring.
